Extreme Makeunder

Three great makeovers makeunders:

Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) was hideously transformed into Brundlefly after something went wrong in the lab... something very wrong, in The Fly.

12-year-old Regan MacNeil (Linda Blair) hurled insults, profanities and projectile vomit after she became possessed in The Exorcist.

Bob Wolverton (Kiefer Sutherland) looked like he'd been "beaten with the ugly stick" after getting shot a whole buncha times by Vanessa Lutz (Reese Witherspoon) in Freeway.

2. It’s considered to be the longest running theatrical release in film history.
3. Tim Curry is brilliant as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania.

Not For The Faint-Hearted

I really want to see Grace, a horror film written and directed by Paul Solet, not just because of my love of horror films but also because apparently two audience members fainted during a screening at the Sundance Film Festival.

Grace is based on Paul Solet's 2006 short film of the same name and stars Jordan Ladd as Madeline Matheson. Here's the plot summary from the IMDb:

Madeline Matheson is eight months pregnant and determined to deliver her unborn child, Grace, naturally. When an accident leaves Grace dead inside her, Madeline insists on carrying the baby's corpse to term. Weeks later, when Madeline delivers, the baby miraculously returns to life... with an appetite.
Other films that have reportedly caused people to faint include The Exorcist, Interview with the Vampire, and Saw III.

24 Hours

Three films set during one day:

The Breakfast Club is about five high school students (a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal) who are forced to spend a Saturday together in detention.

Dazed and Confused follows a group of high school students and incoming freshman on the last day of school in May 1976.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off is about a high school senior who fakes an illness so he can skip school and spend the day in Chicago with his girlfriend and his best friend.
